The Grant County Shooters Association sponsors a summer centerfire rifle shooting league beginning in May and lasting through August. The league normally meets approximately every two weeks, shooting long range ( 300 and 600 yards ) and short range ( 100 and 200 yards ) or you may participate in both.
The league consists of shooting off a bench with the rifle sitting on front and rear rest that can not be connected. You may also shoot off a bipod if you so desire. The rifle can not be larger than .30 caliber.
This is an informal group of people just out to have fun and improve their shooting skills. If you’re having problems with some part of your shooting, this is a great opportunity to ask other shooters for advice.
